Transit Museum

Kindergarten went on a class trip to the Transit Museum. Our tour guide taught us about mosaics and showed us various pictures of some made in train stations. We even got to make our very own mosaics to take home. After making mosaics, we moved on and learned about the similarities and differences of trains from years ago compared to modern day trains. Kindergarten sat in various trains, learning how the colors of trains changed over the years, how the seats use to be made of bamboo, fans hung from the ceilings and light bulbs on trains often got stolen so the transit made it so train light bulbs screw to the left as opposed to the ones in our homes screw to the right. We also learned about the buses and got an opportunity to "drive" one. We had so much fun!
