Over the past month, kindergarten talked about the life cycle of a butterfly. We read our weekly reader and discussed as well as made predictions about our topic. Kindergarten also learned a song about it! Feel free to encourage your children to sing it to you. Kindergarten also got to watch the life cycle right before their very eyes! Our caterpillars started out very small and after eating and eating, they got bigger and bigger. Eventually they formed cocoons at the top of the net and when they were ready, beautiful butterflies came out. When all of our butterflies were here, we let them all go! If you look at our last picture, you can see one of them near Jacky's arm!
