Kindergarten has been learning about their world. We started by talking about the similarities and differences between globes and maps. We eventually moved on to the introduction of the 7 continents. The kindergarten class is lucky to have a rug that displays the world. The children learned to recognize and label each of the continents. We learned that Asia is the largest and Australia is the smallest. We also spoke about various places in each of them such as Israel is in Asia. The children were so excited to learn all about it.
