Happy Birthday Sammy!

A little while ago we celenbrated Sammy's Jewish birthday. We baked a delicious cake and made beautiful cards for Sammy. At the birthday party, we gave each other blessings, said some pesukim from the Torah, gave extra tzeddakka and of course enjoyed delicious birthday cake. Mazal tov!

Alef Baiz update

In Kindergarten we have been using many different ways to learn, review and remember our Alef Baiz. Recently, we made a 'put in order' game that we took home to enjoy. We are working really hard and looking forward to alot of progress.

Simchas Torah

Straight from Sukkos right into the exciting holiday of Simchas Torah! After learning about how special and holy our Torah is, the children decorated flags with glitter and glue with which to dance around the Torah. We loved dancing around with our Torahs and flags while singing happy tunes! Enjoy the pictures!

Measuring Continued...

Kindergarten was introduced to measuring with their rulers. We learned that a ruler has 12 inches. After a mini lesson, we went on a scavenger hunt around our classroom and found various items to measure. What a fun and hands on experience!

Botanical Gardens

Kindergarten went on a trip to the Botanical Gardens. As you can see, we saw many beautiful things and learned all about plants. We spoke about how plants help us breathe, act as medication and even have healing lotions such as aloe in them.

Kindergarten also had the opportunity to explore the Children's Discovery Garden.

What a beautiful and educational experience!
