Pajama Day!

To end Literacy Month, we had Pajama Day! Often before bedtime, we as parents like to snuggle up with our children and read a good book to them.

One of the books we read later in the day at our pajama party was, Ira's Sleep Over. To start the day, the children came in and "packed their suitcases" for our sleep over. Each child wrote three items in their suitcase that they would take on a sleep over and then decorated it. For a yummy treat, the children enjoyed milk and cookies! Later, we all (yes, even Morah Dawn) got into our pajamas, brought our pillows, sleeping bags and stuffed animals for a fun pajama party. We even sang some lullabies. What a fun and relaxing way to end Literacy Month.
