Kindergarten learned how to listen to a story and retell the events in order. We read, Flower Garden by Eve Bunting. After listening to the book, the children told of different events that happened. Morah wrote each event on a sentence strip. When we were done writing out the sentence strips, the children worked as a team to place the sentence strips in order of the events in the story. It was great to see such amazing teamwork!
